Chris Harrison did not leave the “Bachelor” franchise despite moving to Texas
Chris Harrison He will be on your televisions for the foreseeable future, adding “The Bachelor” – he’s not going anywhere, despite moving to Texas.
Rumors spread this weekend amid news that the bachelor’s program host was packing his bags and moving to Barton Creek – just outside Austin – with his girlfriend Lauren Zema. People heard it and thought … the guy might have been out of his role with the franchise forever.
But that’s not the case – knowledgeable production sources tell us he’s not leaving the show … he’s simply moving on, in part because of a recent partnership deal he struck with a local brewery. He’s also from Texas – he came once from Dallas – but in terms of work … we were told he would move.
NBD really, many stars do these days … including one Ryan Seacrest, Who lives largely bicoastal now due to New York City’s hosting party on “Ryan & Kelly,” along with Los Angeles-based American Idol. Same idea as Chris, and in fact, his moves are much shorter.

Another reason people think he’s been hanging his clothes is because he’s been MIA for two weeks and JoJo Fletcher is hosting. We were told he was absent because he took his son to college – in Texas – and had to quarantine for two weeks before returning to the group.
BTW … Chris has hosted for 20 years. Not a bad run. So in the foreseeable future … everything will come with roses for Chris.
