A disturbing video clip shows an officer smashed in front of the door by a crowd storming the Capitol
At least one person tried to take off the officer’s mask strapped, screaming in pain.
The video went to the rioters, chanting, “Heave, ho! Heave, ho!” As you push more towards the entrance.
The officer reinserted the frame of the stuck video clip, now unmasked and stained with blood, screaming for help. A voice can be heard amid the quarrel, shouting, “Let him come back, let him out!”
The officer finally managed to free himself from the door. He seemed to answer in the affirmative when asked if he was okay. Officer status is unknown.
Of the rioters, Farina said, “There was no conversation with them.” “They were on their way there no matter what was on their way.”
“Nothing really bothered them,” said Farina. “They kept rotating in and out. They were saying, ‘We need new patriots.”
Farina said the police eventually repelled the rioters from there.
